Bhavish Aggarwal, founder of Ola and Ola Electric, has announced the establishment of Krutrim AI Labs, committing an initial investment of ₹2,000 crore. He plans to increase this investment to ₹10,000 crore by next year.

  • Vyakhyarth 1: An Indic embedding model
  • Krutrim Translate 1: A text-to-text translation model

Additionally, Krutrim has introduced BharatBench, a benchmark designed to evaluate AI performance in Indic contexts.

Partnership with NVIDIA

Krutrim is collaborating with NVIDIA to build India's first GB200 AI supercomputer. Scheduled to be operational by March, it aims to become the country's largest AI supercomputer by year-end.
