Nivaan Care, a multidisciplinary chronic pain management clinic chain, has raised $4.25 million in a seed funding round led by Endiya Partners, with participation from existing investor W Health Ventures. The company plans to utilize the funds to expand its network by adding 10 new clinics across two cities and to introduce regenerative medicine treatments, including autologous cell therapies and bioactive scaffolds, aimed at promoting tissue repair and improving patient outcomes.
Chronic pain affects approximately 270 million individuals in India, with an additional 25 million new cases each year. Despite the prevalence, treatment options are often fragmented and limited in effectiveness. Nivaan Care aims to address this gap by offering a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to pain management.
A Multidisciplinary Approach
Founded in 2023 by Nivesh Khandelwal and Vishwas Singh, Nivaan Care employs a biopsychosocial model that integrates medical, psychological, and rehabilitative care. This approach has been shown to be more effective than traditional, unimodal treatments. Currently, the company operates seven clinics and has treated over 10,000 patients, performing 1,400 minimally invasive procedures to date.
Investor Confidence
Dr. Vedha Sampathkumar, Partner at Endiya Partners, expressed confidence in Nivaan Care’s mission, stating, “Chronic pain touches nearly every family, including mine. Too often, it is underdiagnosed and goes untreated, leaving people to navigate a maze of specialists without real resolution. That’s why we’re so inspired by Nivaan’s mission to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to pain management.”
Future Plans
With the new funding, Nivaan Care plans to expand its reach by establishing 10 additional clinics in two cities. The company also intends to incorporate evidence-based regenerative medicine modalities to enhance its treatment offerings.
Our Opinion on the News
Nivaan Care’s successful funding round underscores the growing recognition of the need for comprehensive chronic pain management solutions in India. By expanding its clinic network and integrating regenerative medicine treatments, the company is well-positioned to address a significant healthcare gap. This development not only reflects investor confidence in Nivaan Care’s multidisciplinary approach but also highlights the broader potential for innovation in the chronic pain management sector.
